India Government Mint Recruitment 2022 – India Govt. Mint, Kolkata is one of the nine units under the “Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited” (SPMCIL), a Miniratna Category-I, Central Public Sector Enterprise Company, wholly owned by Government of India, incorporated on 13.01.2006 under the Companies Act, 1956 with the objective of designing, manufacturing/printing security documents, currency and bank notes, non-judicial stamp papers, minting of coins, postage stamps, etc. SPMCIL is under the administrative control of Ministry of Finance with its Registered and Corporate Office at Jawahar Vyapar Bhavan, Janpath, New Delhi 110001.
It has four Minting Units at Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Noida, four Currency/Security Printing Presses at Nashik, Dewas and Hyderabad besides a high quality Paper manufacturing Mill at Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad).
India Government Mint, Kolkata invites online applications from eligible and willing applicants for the posts of Jr. Technicians at W1 level (10 posts), Lab Assistant at W1 level (4 posts), Substation Operator at M1 level (3 posts) and Supervisor (Assay) at S1 level (2 posts).

- Note- The upper age limit relaxation for SC/ST 5 years and OBC 3 years.

ITI Certificate in the Respective Trade recognized from NCVT/SCVT.

Selection Process-
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answer for online examination.
- Selection will be done on the basis of online examination which will be of objective type.
- Total marks of the online examination will be 125.
- The duration of the examination is 120 minutes.

How to Apply –
- Candidates can apply online only from 29.10.2022 to 29.11.2022 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
- Before applying online, candidates should-Scan their :
- Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- Signature (with black ink)
- Left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
- A hand written declaration (on a white paper with black ink) (text given below)
- The text for the hand written declaration is as follows – “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
- Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
- Candidates to go to India Government Mint, Kolkata website https://igmkolkata.spmcil.com click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
- . To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
